Kokedama workshop with Alyson Mowat

£65.00

Join Alyson Mowat at Kindred House to create your own hanging Kokedama garden.

Kokedama means ‘moss ball’ in Japanese and we are turning this ancient art into a beautiful ball of hanging Asparagus Fern.

The concept originates from Japan where it is a popular planting style and makes for a gorgeous ornamental plant feature. Today, it is very popular in Japanese gardens.

All materials you need to create your own Asparagus Fern kokedama will be provided and you'll also learn how to string up your hanging garden and keep it thriving.

If you would rather not hang your kokedama, you can also display the moss balls on altar-like stands and arrange in artistic groupings.

Refreshments will be provided.

During our events, the guest house is reserved for the attendees who receive a 15% discount on their stay. Rooms are limited & tend to get booked quickly so get in touch early to avoid disappointment.

The workshop is limited to 6 places to ensure a safe working environment. If dates need to change due to Covid, you’ll be able to swap to the new date or obtain a refund if you’re unable to make the new date. Otherwise tickets are non-refundable.
