Materiality: a state of being

£0.00

Introducing our first group exhibition at Kindred House.

Always looking to explore different ways of using our space, we have invited 19 artists to exhibit with us, all of whose work we feel celebrates the theme of ‘materiality’ in some way.

The artworks will be installed over three floors in an ‘open-house’ style show. Visitors will be invited to wander around the house at their leisure and view the pieces within a home setting.

All works will be available to buy in person and we will also be presenting the exhibition online for those not able to attend. All items for sale will go live on our website at 11am on the 17th of June. 5% of all sales will be going towards The Margate Bookshop’s fundraiser for buying books for local schools within Thanet, an area with the lowest children’s literacy and highest child poverty rate in Kent.

The exhibition will be open daily from 11am-6pm and run from the 17th-26th of June. The show will be by appointment only, so visitors will need to book a slot below for entry.

We will also have a collection of soulful homewares and accessories available for sale in a mini pop-up shop set up for the duration of the show.
