Wet Plate Collodion Portrait Sitting with Kasia Wozniak

£220.00
sold out

Wet Plate Collodion is one of the earliest photography techniques, dating back to the mid nineteenth century.

The photograph is an outcome of a photographic ceremony, that begins with the coating of glass or aluminium plate with a light sensitive solution, followed by the exposure and development, and ends with the fixing of the photograph. Each step of the image creation is greatly considered and captured during only a few seconds of long exposures.

The created photograph becomes a beautiful tangible object, that can stay with you for many generations to come.

Each portrait sitting session is about an hour long. (Please choose your time slot below to book). During your session, Kasia will take two photographs from which you will be able to choose your favourite to take home with you.

The portrait sittings are designed for up to two people in the photographic frame. Plate size is approximately 12 x 16 cm.

We are limited to just 6 sittings on the day. If dates need to change due to Covid, you’ll be able to swap to the new date or obtain a refund if you’re unable to make the new date. We require 10 days notice should you wish to cancel your slot, after which tickets are non-refundable.
